An inspiring day about colour, material and circularity!
A collaboration between Material Sense LAB, platform for material innovation and KleurenVisie, the Dutch platform for colour.
We are reusing more and more materials for new products. The time that this reuse only led to gray indefinable colors is over. However, what is involved when we bring together the aesthetics of colour and material and the (technical) possibilities in practice? And what can we do with biomaterials, how far are the possibilities for colouring with materials that nature provides us with? How can we design in the world of circular material use with colour products that not only inspire but are also accepted if it is produced on a larger scale? Colour psychologists, designers and materials scientists show us the current state of affairs and give us a look into the future.
