On July 6th VentureCafé Rotterdam welcomed close to 300 entrepreneurs, visionaries and enthousiasts interested in the innovation developments in sustainable fashion. Every Thursday at VentureCafé a gathering is held filled with interesting programs for innovators, entrepreneurs, students and other interested people. During this particular event the whole process from having a sustainable fashion idea to production to marketing to consumption and back again with reusing and repurposing textile was highlighted.
Living Colour
Laura hosted an info table this evening; a small showcase of Living Colour, where people could read our publication, feel our fabrics and ask Laura anything about dyeing textiles with bacteria. Next to the info table, Laura also presented a break out session: an inspiration session to explore a sustainable alternative to synthetic textile dyes. The room was absolutely packed! Laura got a lot of positive feedback on the presentation as well as the subject.
Thank you Kirsten Eerland and Noelani Reyes of Venture Café for allowing us to be part of this inspirational evening! See the complete programme of the evening here.
